Some BotBlox hardware have an STM32 microcontroller to run standalone firmware. This firmware runs once at power on, and does tasks like initializing registers and setting up all the ethernet chips to talk to each other.
From time to time, we update this standalone firmware, either to improve a specific performance factor, or to solve a bug we have identified.
This page contains the latest firmware binaries for various boards, which can be downloaded directly here then flashed onto the board.
This page is not for BotBlox hardware running BloxOSLite firmware (UbiSwitch Module and SwitchBlox Industrial), the update process can be handled easily via the onboard serial port, described here.
This page is not for BotBlox hardware running OpenWRT (Rugged SOM, RouterCore Module, RouterCore Nano), the update mechanism is also easy, described here.
