Welcome to the BloxOsLite documentation!

Features

BloxOsLite is a custom application built on top of ZephyrRTOS, created by BotBlox, designed to enable switch network management. Previously, customers could only use most BotBlox boards as unmanaged network switches. This has its limitations in more complex network topologies: customers before had to solve networking issues in sometimes sub-optimal ways.

BloxOsLite gives users the following support

802.1Q tag-based VLANs + port-based VLANs
Link aggregation groups
PHY control and status
PCS mode control
QoS (coming soon)

If you have purchased an UbiSwitch or SwitchBlox Industrial that has NOT been pre-flashed with BloxOsLite and would like to flash it yourself, please request access at ‣ for documentation. This ONLY applies to past customers prior to the initial release, subsequent releases are preflashed on the boards at factory.
