The following components are required to run BotBlox ARIES software.

2.1 Hardware requirements

You will need the following hardware with BotBlox ARIES.

• 1 x BotBlox Board + power/data cables (Presently only SwitchBlox Industrial can be used with ARIES)
• 1 x Power Supply
• 1 x PC with USB or serial ports onboard
• 1 x USB to Serial (3.3V, UART) converter (If the PC above does not have an onboard serial port. Any USB to Serial device will work as long as it can support 9600 baud rate and a 3.3V level)

2.2 Software requirements

All software required for BotBlox ARIES is freely available.

• A PC running Windows 8 or later (BotBlox ARIES may run on an earlier Windows OS but this is untested)
• Installed LabVIEW Runtime Engine
• Installed NI-VISA Driver
• The BotBlox ARIES executable file, available on GitHub.
• Installed PuTTY or other Serial terminal program (Optional, for debugging)
